Santa Clara County Trail Bid Toolkit

Zander Westbrook Design is developing a trail construction cost estimation tool, a set of typical trail details and specifications, and a bid package process for Santa Clara County Parks to use in future trail construction projects. These resources will allow County Parks staff to integrate GIS data to quickly prepare plans for new trail projects while complying with current public construction bidding requirements. The team applied the tools, drawings, and specifications to prepare a bid package for a new trail project in Coyote Canyon. The cost estimation tool was created in coordination with a County-built GIS trail mapping tool.
