Napa Valley Vine Trail

Napa County, California

Zander Westbrook Design worked with the non-profit Napa Valley Vine Trail Coalition and Napa County Transportation Authority to update and refine the planned 10-mile Vine Trail alignment between Yountville and St Helena for the Cycle 6 Active Transportation grant cycle. Our work focused on coordinating the trail alignment with existing private agricultural properties, the Napa Wine Trail right-of-way, and the Caltrans State Route 29 right-of-way. Our goal was to provide a feasible alignment that reduced impacts to private property, existing heritage oak trees and drainages while ensuring the most cost-effective solutions and the best user experience.
